Laduree Macarons | London

As many of you may know Laduree is a famous bakery in Paris that was founded in 1862 and is famous for its macarons. A sweet/ dessert like no other I have always wanted to try them. Little did I know that when I visited London they had a shop there. Right in the middle of Covent gardens! Of course I wanted to go and see what all the fuss was about. At £1.75 each I purchased a vanilla one before buying a box. It was delicious! With a soft center, but a firmer yet still soft outside. I had to buy a box to enjoy more of their amazing flavours!

The flavours that I brought in my box are: vanilla, rose petal, strawberry marshmallow, blackcurrant, chocolate/banana, toffee and another vanilla. Out of all of these I would have to say that the toffee was was the best, it had a caramel center and was delicious. I would highly recommend you to go and try one if you are ever in the area or even in London. It is well worth travelling across London just for that one macaron.
