Benefit Porefessional | First Impressions

Benefits Porefessional is the Uks number one best selling primer. Although they have been selling this product for quite a while now I have only just got round to trying it for myself. I was definitely not disappointed. The primer is not just for underneath your make up but can also be applied over the top throughout the day! How great it that? I have been using the primer for a while now so everything that I will be reviewing is my honest opinion of the product. I hope you enjoy hearing what I thought of it.

First of all the product came in an easy to squeeze tube. I know I have had products before in the same kind of tube but the plastic is so much thicker that it gets hard to use them up. However the porefessional tube didn't require much squeezing at all and you got enough out straight away. It also didn't require much product at one time, just a little pea like size would spread such a long way the product is bound to last you ages.

When I used the primer I was so impressed. Unlike most primers that I have used in the past this one came out as a foundation colour. This was a bonus straight away, I know when using others before that come out white what a pain they are. You apply them to the areas that need them but they make you so pale you end up using more foundation than needed. When I applied the primer it required no rubbing or manipulating to get into my pores. It had liked claimed a silky texture that soothed the skin you applied it to. 

The use of the word porefessional was a great play of words. Not only does it make it immediately obvious what the product is aimed at but it also proves that they know what they are talking about. The way that benefit always have catchy words to describe there products draws you in straight away. 

Although the box doesn't claim it I found that the primer left my skin more hydrated. My dry areas were less dry and the foundation stayed on for much longer. I applied the primer not all over as it wasn't necessary in some areas but only the dry areas like in between my eyebrows and my nose. Normally with other primers they would be fine to apply make up over but wouldn't last long at all. However with benefits porefessional primer my make up stays on all day. Although if I did apply powder over the top of my foundation then the make up seemed to wear off a lot faster. This may be the reason that benefit claim you can apply the primer over the top of your make up.
