Olay Night Cream | First Impressions

Although I'm only about to turn 19 shouldn't everyone be preparing for the future. Your skin can be damaged from so many things throughout the day: the things you eat/drink, sun damage, the heating during the winter, products you may rub over your face and of course the make up we so love to wear! When you hear of night cream and preventing them wrinkles of course you think of someone older, don't we all?

But what if using the products for wrinkles now before its too late is the answer? I'm not saying that I have wrinkles because what 18/19 year old does! But I am the queen of frowning and raising my eyebrows and of course I have them expression lines on my forehead that we all get. So I felt that it was time to invest in a night cream, so while I was out shopping I came across Olay's essentials complete care night cream. It read perfect for my skin. The box claims that I will achieve healthy looking skin in just five days. Whose two lines on my head will take longer than that to go I am sure, the challenge was on!

Olay's essentials range offer a complete care night cream which is suitable for normal/dry/oily skin. With my skin being dry the product claims to 'replace moisture lost during the day' this sounded perfect for my dry dehydrated skin. Although I try to drink as much water as possible to repair my skin it just isn't enough I needed the help of a night cream.

Straight away from putting the cream on my skin felt hydrated. The cream was light and easy to apply rubbing straight in without clogging my pores like claimed. It left my skin feeling hydrated and non greasy, even the next morning. Waking up the first morning my skin felt great, there was no dry skin which was usually cured by primer before my day ahead. The cream had done what it had said 'replace moisture lost during the day'. Although using something once will not change anything, my frown lines were still there but my skin condition in general had dramatically improved.

The cream itself retails at £9.99 however at the time of purchase was at a surprising £4.99, that was an offer I just had to take advantage of. With so many products out there all claiming to give you the same results the decision was a toughen. Would I spend £4.99 on Olay's complete care night cream or £24 on No7's protect and perfect intense night cream?

Of course I went for Olay's and couldn't be happier. My skin was refreshed from the dull winter and appeared brighter and healthier. I was very impressed with the results and will definitely be purchasing the cream as soon as mine has run out. The price is very reasonable and the perfect product to help achieve 'healthy looking skin'.

Will you be picking up your Olay night cream?

Lots of love,
Clo x
