Benefit Roller Lash Mascara | First Impressions

A girls best friend in her make up bag is mascara. I'm certainly one for wanting long breathtaking lashes. Who doesn't love having big curled lashes? With benefits 'They're Real' mascara being one of their best selling products. I'm sure many of you were excited when you heard that benefit were bringing out their new mascara 'Roller Lash'.

They first brought out a sample of the mascara in February's ELLE magazine. This is where I first tried the mascara myself. At only £4 for the magazine you just couldn't pass up the offer. Benefit normally retail there samples for around £9 on there own.

Like with all benefit make up the new mascara has a great name 'Roller Lash' created to give your lashes that curl and lift that you can get from putting rollers in your hair! As always the benefit product offers great things, after all the mascara has been said to be in production for the last four years! The thought of not having to use eye lash curlers again ...

Having used this mascara for a week I am in love. It manages to give my lashes a curl unlike any other, being able to grab onto all my lashes and make my eyes look bigger and more full. With my natural lashes being pretty rubbish this mascara gave them the curl they so needed. It was also clear from first impressions that the mascara does not clump on your lashes and you may not need as much as normal to achieve the effect. The curls managed to last all day although I think this may be an issue if you over use the mascara. However I wouldn't say that this mascara gives you as much length as you may want. For this reason I would use a accompanying mascara afterwards to lengthen my curled lashes.

However the mascara was not released till the end of February so any of you who were able to pick up ELLE's February issue were in luck. Although it only had a sample size product for only £4 you got such a great product. The sample lasts for quite a long time as well.
Who managed to pick up there copy of ELLE in February? Does anyone have the Roller Lash mascara?

Lots of love,
Clo x
